Favourite Poem: Mark Brown

Who Has Seen the Wind?  By   W.O. Mitchell

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.

I enjoy this poem because it provides an excellent mental picture of the power of the wind in our lives.  The wind is a force that can only be seen in the way it affects other things.  This poem describes these affects brilliantly and succinctly.
