The Day the Dragons Won the Lottery

The day the dragonry won the lottery
they got staggery, swiggery, blotto-ry,
ziggery-zaggery, teetery, tottery,
proudly swaggery,
draggery flaggery,
loudly braggery. Rich or what-ery?
When the dragonry won the lottery.

Oops! A snaggery...Oh no nottery!
Just a tenner is all they gottery.
What a calamity! Sniffery snottery.
This is most certainly not what it ought to be.
Cursery, slaggery, weepery, watery.
Utterly agony. Heckery! Rottery!
When the dragonry won the lottery.

  1. 1. I think the dragons are called the dragonry, because It sounds like a group and the suffix (ry), I think means a group. For examle machinery is about more than on piece of it. (It also might not because of the word robbery)

    2. The exciting event is the first verse is when the dragons won the lottery, and when they were really hyper, jumping and being crazy when they won it.

    3. All of the words ending with ry and ery make the words exciting and interesting, because those words are made with nonsense.

    4. Well, the dragons are bragging loudly (as it says in the poem) while acting crazy (like it shows in the picture, too.

    5. They were sad because of the words like sniffery and snottery, they didn't win any money, just got a teener and were not rich like they thought they were going to be.

    6. All of the words that describe that the dragons are sad in the second verse are the ones the end in ery, ony, rly and ity, which is mostly all of the words.
