Notebook
A slick new cover and pages all blank,
start scribbling down school notes,
and pass one to a friend.
A list of things I need to do,
checking them off one by one.
They come big and small,
pocket sized and legal sized.
I can doodle something,
sketch a diagram,
write down a plan,
or even make up a map.
I really marvel at all I can do,
but sadly, I filled up all the pages -
time for another new one!
